There has never been a time when we are in more need of a
great and powerful life-changing revival.
The church is in desperate need for a
revival and the world is in desperate need for the church to
have one. A true revival is the only solution to raise the Church to normal
Kingdom living,
produce massive salvations, and determine the destiny of
nations.
A revival
of the Kingdom is first a personal revival. It then becomes
corporate. It is the sum of all individuals being touched
anew that makes revivals so powerful. Then it touches and changes
the world.
Nothing has become
clearer to me than that revival is of God. It is something first
revealed to those in need of it in order that they may begin seeking Him
for it. The irony is that it was in His heart first. So our call to Him
is a Spirit birthed call and the answer is prepared as is all his works
which are know to Him from the beginning of the world. So we can safely
say that once we begin to cry out we can have concrete faith that
revival will come. And that crying out is through regular personal and
corporate prayer.
If there is one outstanding feature and the
primary one about a revival it is that the life of Christ in
the body is manifested more and more. Even when the doctrine
of the indwelling Christ is not clearly understood, His life
is still expressed in the body. However,
the truth should be revisited so as to bring the children of
God to a desire for an ever increasing life of Christ. It is
easy to live a religious life without the real power of that
life. It is done all too much. Now is the time for change.
We must come to say “for me to live is
Christ.”

Title - The Kingdom of God - Already And Not Yet - Part 5
The King, The Kingdom And Revival; More Than A Revival, A
Restoration Of Kingdom
Message Date: 2/21/2010
We can reign
in and within the world now. Ultimately Jesus will reign over
all the world. Its blessing, power and provision can be
received now through Holy Spirit. The same way it worked in
Jesus is how it is to work in us. When it does, the Kingdom
manifests (Matthew 12:28). But the Kingdom is God's and not
man's and thus it has a superior motive derived from the character
of God. He acts lovingly and redemptively. We
enter the Kingdom experientially and it enters us spiritually.
In both cases the Kingdom rules.

Title - Trust, Belief, Faith - Part 2
Message Date: 12/13/2009
God
guards, covenants and preserves our inheritance but we must remain
in faith. His promises to us are unconditional and conditional
in that we remain in faith. Both are necessary.
Exercising
our faith is always a choice. We are tested in our faith (Rom.
5:2-5). There is joy in this testing (James 1:2). There
is proof in this testing (1 Peter 1:4-7). The testing of our
faith results in spiritual growth.

Title - Trust, Belief, Faith - Part 1
Message Date: 12/6/2009
Many
people are experiencing above average challenges in life.
Stress abounds, caused in part by the world's economy, health
issues, terrorism and strife. Up until a few years ago
conditions were such that most of us didn't have a great need to
exercise our faith. There was relative prosperity, for
example, but that had more to do with the conditions in the world or
our own natural strengths. It is different now and our faith
is being dragged out of the storage chest and dusted off.
God entrusted us with faith - Jude 3. None of us is born with
inherent faith. It is given to us (Eph. 2:8). Our
salvation by faith is of God. We have a free will to exercise
it. Our faith is stimulated by hearing the Word, reading
Scripture, prophecies, and God speaking to us internally.
Exercising
our faith is always a choice. The faith we have is entrusted
to us by God which when used puts us all in the honor roll of faith.

Title - A Second Wind - Part 7
Love Is - 1 Corinthians 13
Message Date: 11/29/2009
Love is directly connected to the spiritual gifts. 1 Cor. 13
actually begins in 1 Cor. 12:31. We can divide the first 13
chapters as....
* Chapters 1-3 -- The need for love with gifts
* Chapters 4-7 -- Love defined as to character and relations
*
Chapters 8-13 -- The eternal state of our being expressed as love
enduring when all else passes away
Without love we end up using the gifts as noisy cymbals which do not
benefit us
Love is
patient with people and doesn't retaliate when unjustly dealt with.
Love is kind
and is focused on people, is gentle and benevolent.
Love is not
jealous nor does it desire the possessions of others. It
doesn't seek to control others.
Love doesn't
brag or boast in anything.
Love is not
arrogant or proud.
Love is not
rude, nor does it ignore others. It doesn't act
indifferent/discourteous towards others.
Love doesn't
seek for its own satisfaction.
Love isn't easily provoked. It isn't easily irritated or
angered.
Love doesn't
account for wrong suffered. It doesn't hold records of wrongs
nor does it store up grievances to be used at a later date.
Love doesn't
delight in evil or unrighteousness. It does, however, rejoice
in truth.
Love bears
all things and provides an environment to put up with until healing
comes.
Love believes
and sees the best in others, and to believe the best for others.
Love hopes.
It holds out a favorable expectancy for all believers.
Love endures
and provides a steadfastness to endure temptation and trials without
retaliating or rejecting another person.
God knows us perfectly and in time we will know Him intimately.
Love is the means to this end. The spiritual gifts and
ministries heal, prepare and perfect. Love finishes the work.

Title - A Second Wind - Part 6
How Love Works In Us To Make Us Whole
Love Never Runs Dry - Wonders Of His Mighty Love
Message Date: 11/15/2009
The love of God (salvation love we see in John 3:16-17) is a guiding
love that flows like the river Jordan. We must first identify
God's love further by contrasting it to human love which by
comparison is weak and frail. Human love has controls and
regulators on it. Without the life of Christ indwelling us, it
is like a glove without a hand....limp. When the hand fills
the glove and directs it, it becomes the hand of God's love reaching
out. We, as Christians, learn the difference as we travel
along the Christian path.
Idolatrous love has no place in us. Things that keep us from
coming after God will reveal that we love God too little, not others
too much. Idolatrous love compromises and competes for our
heart. We must know (1 John 4:10) that God loved us before
creation. We cannot earn His love. He freely gives it.
We must freely receive it, and then freely give it to others.
The mix of need-love and give-love makes for healthy Christians.

Title - Blessings In The Heavenlies
Spiritual Warfare
Message Date: 11/8/2009
The word 'blessing' in
Ephesians 1:3 comes from the Greek word eulogian from which
our word eulogy comes. It is God's action
upon someone who is spoken well of. We are well spoken of
because of our position in Christ and our endowments.
There are three major areas of struggle. Our fallen nature.
The fallen world. And satan and his evil spirits. Satan
seeks to control the world through governments, nations or religion.
But we are higher in position and rank, stronger in God's strength,
and equipped with the Lord's armor.

Title - A Second Wind - Part 5
Fulfilling the Royal Law of Love
Message Date: 10/25/2009
Many
Christians practice some love and some hatred, and live in a mixture
which they have come to think is the norm. The tongue reveals
this mixture, James 3:10.
Hatred is an extreme opposite of Love. It is malicious, is
often unjustified and causes darkness, unhappiness, offences, and
stirs up and drives away others. God's love is from above and
is pure, peaceable, gentle, merciful. It produces high quality
character that generates the grace of God, without partiality, not
wavering, without hypocrisy, and has no double standard. Peace
reigns.
We must decide what environment and what identity we wish to live in
and have. James 2:8 says we are to live fulfilling the royal
law of love. So, it should/must be our decision to have no
mixture.
* Owe no many
anything but love -- Romans 13:8
* Love enough to correct -- Hebrews 12:5
* Love overwhelms the sins of others, but hatred stirs up strife --
Proverbs 10:12
* Live by the life of the Loving One in us. For us to live is
Christ, Phil. 1:21
* Desire to create an identity and atmosphere of love.

Title - A Second Wind - Part 4
Knowing God And His Love
Message Date: 10/18/2009
While we might have a traditional understanding of God's love
through His healing, providing, protecting, and answering of
prayers, there is a longing to know the Father more, and to receive
and understand His love more. Knowing God's love is not just
getting your way and getting things that you ask Him for. It
is not just goose bumps and excitement. It can include those,
but there is more to the God kind of love and knowing Him.
This love has "another" as its objective.
We learn and know God's manifest presence by practicing His love
towards others. In doing so, all become givers, and all become
receivers. God is always present, but manifests Himself in, by
and through love (agape love). As our hunger to know God and
His love more is satisfied, we become vessels of that love to those
around us and in the world.

Message Date: 9/6/2009
Psalm 107:19-20 (NIV) - "Then they cried to the Lord in their
trouble, and He saved them from their distress. He sent forth
His word and healed them...."
Summary:
God is speaking in
response to our prayers for revival (Psalm 107:20). We cry
out, and God hears our prayers. He sends His Word to heal and
deliver. We must learn to listen in order to hear and receive.
And, of course, we must learn to obey what He says. |

Title - The Course of This World - Part 1
The Course of the Kingdom
Message Date: 7/12/2009
Summary:
There is a truth about
the course of this world. It has a path
of destruction to it. The course of the world is like a raging
river that takes everything caught up in it and sweeps it along.
As an illustration, when I was a child I used to spend time at the
local river banks. There was a kid there fishing and his line
got caught in some reeds. He proceeded to pull up his pant
legs to go into the river to free it. We warned him that there
were leeches in the river but he paid us no attention. Well,
sure enough, when he came out of the river he had leeches stuck to
his legs. Leeches that such your blood. That's what
happens when you get into the course of the river of this world.
Nobody can get into it without getting contaminated through its
disobedience, self satisfaction (of the flesh/mind), unbelief, etc.
The world can look good and might be doing some "good", but at its
root is contamination of various sorts. In this teaching we
look at the course of this world and the course of the Kingdom.
Part 2 will be covered next week. |

Message Date: 7/5/2009

and Jesus were committed to each other, we are to be equally
committed to the Lord and to one another as in seeking first the
Kingdom of God. The rich, precious,

a picture of us as the one body functioning in our ministry to God
on behalf of men and on behalf of God to men. |

Title - The Power of the Word "IN"
Christ IN Me
Coming & Abiding (The Grace For Both Comes From Christ)
Message Date: 6/7/2009
Summary:
This is the third part
of the message about the power
of the word IN, and the important truths that as Christians we are IN Christ and that Christ is IN
us.
The Holy Spirit may give us power, but the end of the whole thing is
not to have power, but power for life. We can get so caught up
in the excitement of people and activities (and even sometimes
ministry) and end up getting off course. This happens because
we never learned how to abide. Grace enables us. The
same grace that called us enables us once we respond and abide in
Him. Our call is to come to Him and stay/abide with Him. |

Title - The Power of the Word "IN"
IN Christ and Christ IN Us - Part 2 (Salvation Is A Person)
Message Date: 5/24/2009
Summary:
This is the second part
of the message about the power
of the word IN, and the important truths that as Christians we are IN Christ and that Christ is IN
us. Do you know that the devil is not threatened by our
knowledge of the Scriptures? Rather, he IS threatened by the
character of Christ being formed within us.
There can be a lessening of our expectations of what it is to live
as a real Christian, because we're doing so much in our own power
and think that we're calling upon the Holy Spirit for a little help
when in reality He is just along for the ride. And He is
not going to step into action until we finally say "that's it, I'm
done", and then He can and act in our lives.
Because we are IN Him, we are saved. Our
salvation is in Christ Jesus. When He died, we died.
When He rose, we rose. When He stood before the Father (Eph
1:6), we were blessed in the
heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. When the Father looks at you
and I He looks at Christ and we are counted clean, pure, justified,
and blessed in all of the promises of God. And so there we are
IN Christ receiving everything. And while it is true that
because we are IN Him we are saved, because He is IN us we are
being saved. There is an exact ultimate application to our
lives that eternity is ours with God because of the work of Christ
and our faith in Him and that we are IN Him. But day to day
salvation occurs because He is IN us. The overcoming of
our lives occurs through Christ IN us, by Christ IN us, and
by no other means.

Title - The Power of the Word "IN"
IN Christ and Christ IN Us
Message Date: 5/17/2009
Summary:
We have previously
looked at the power of the word OF. Now we look at the power
of the word IN. This word is used in connection with two of
the most important realities of our life as Christians. The
first is that we are IN Christ and the second is that Christ is IN
us. When we come to realize the immense significance of these
truths and then put them into practice, our lives will change beyond
anything we have ever experienced. In order for this to happen
we do need a change in our paradigm of how we think as Christians,
which affects our behavior. It is repentance at the core of
our faith. It will place our faith on the indwelling Christ,
and not ourselves, and our energy to function as Christians.

Title - The Power of a Resurrected Life - Part 3
Forgiveness of Sins on Earth--Our Ministry
Message Date: 5/3/2009
Summary:
Within a short time before
Jesus was to leave this earth, He appeared to His disciples and
symbolically blew on them the Holy Spirit. he then
commissioned them to the same ministry He had. He said as the
Father has sent Me so send I you, told them to receive the Holy
Spirit, and then declared that whosoever sins they would remit
(forgive) they would be forgiven, and whosoever sins they retained
(didn't forgive) would not be forgiven.
In this teaching we look at the categories of sin, the character in
Christ that made Him so compassionate in forgiveness, and then 4
illustrations of Him forgiving. All of this provides us with
examples of how we are to function in forgiveness as a ministry to
the church and to the lost. It is truly an "everybody"
ministry.

Title - Resurrection Sunday (Principle of Death and Life)
Message Date: 4/12/2009
Summary:
The concept of
resurrection existed before there was a human death. God
placed it in creation first as a sign of what He would do with Jesus
and then mankind. Throughout the Bible evidence of
resurrection exists. It exists in the three major feasts of
Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles, and then in the raising of the
dead in both old and new dispensations. Jesus taught of the
corn of wheat dying to bring life, of the need to take up our
crosses and die, and of the kingdom as a seed sown that dies and
brings forth fruit, some 30, 60, and 100 fold. Both Satan and
God use death as a primary weapon either of destruction or of life.
The one holds men in bondage to sin, sickness and fear of death, and
the other to freedom from sin, sickness and self.

Title - In Defense of Little Generals and Small Armies
Message Date: 4/5/2009
Summary:
The Christian church is full
of what I call "little generals and their small armies". These
are the leaders and believers joined in congregations all over the
world. There are more small churches than large ones.
Both these leaders and believers of small armies are often assaulted
with the thought that they are insignificant in this world and make
no difference at all. This is a favorite tactic of the enemy.
He uses it especially in times of crisis, like what the church and
the world are experiencing right now. This brings about
various responses and often paralyzes the leadership.
We look at the seemingly insignificant role of some unnamed people
who in their one act of obedience played vital roles in the
whole Passover week. If we can see the context of our lives
and make the connection to the whole of what is going on in the
church and in the world, we would think and act differently.
The enemy calls us "feeble" as Sanbalat did with the Jews and
Nehemiah, who were rebuilding the wall. God just calls us.
He knows we are neither feeble nor insignificant to Him.

Title - Members of the Body of Christ and of One Another
Message Date: 3/22/2009
Summary:
We are continuing our
series on the significance of the word 'OF'. We have taught on
being born OF the Spirit, the power OF the cross, and now we look at
being members OF the body OF Christ and OF one another.
This teaching begins with what the body of Christ is and how we get
into it. It explores the understanding and misunderstanding of
the word 'member'. Misunderstanding our true membership in the
body as an organic truth has caused so much heartache and loss of
vital functions of true body life. A parallel is drawn from
the main activities of the human body which are (1) its efforts to
nourish, develop and mature itself to full potential and (2) its
protection against harm, sickness and sin, all of which impede its
progress and development. These same two are transferred to
the spiritual body of Christ and explored as to how the spiritual
body functions the same way along its pathway to maturity.
This teaching lingers a bit on how sin damages the overall
effectiveness of a member and thus the impact on the whole body.
We also look at how a sinning member is treated and restored by the
spiritual members. The attitude in restoring a sin sick person
are the same in restoring to health a physically sick person.
Full recovery for you is our prayer.

Title - Honoring Fathers & Mothers Who Dug Previous Wells
Message Date: 2/8/2009
Summary:
The wells of the Old
Testament were life sources dug by the patriarchs. Their
enemies filled the wells with dirt (sign of flesh/conflict) in order
to stop the life source (water). Those wells then needed to be
re-dug in order for the water to freely flow again. This theme
of re-digging spiritual wells is occurring today all over the world
as we find that our own wells (personal lives) have become stopped
up, and God is telling us to have them re-dug in preparation for the
coming revival. This call to remember our fathers and mothers
is a call to honor them.
God wants us to honor our
spiritual fathers and mothers of faith (both yesterday and today)
for the wells they have dug for us, and for their personal
sacrifice. We are to also honor our birth fathers and
mothers, remembering how God worked through them to touch our lives.
This honoring is long past due, as it is missing in today's Church
and in our society. Society doesn't even honor our own
President. This honoring will help lay the groundwork for
revival in the Church and in our personal lives. And society
itself will begin giving honor to whom it is due. Praise
God!

Title - The Glory of the Incarnation
Message Date: 12/28/2008
Summary:
Glory to God on the
Incarnation. The virgin birth had to be preceded by the divine
conception. It was supernatural and all together miraculous.
As the angel said, "nothing is impossible with God." Luke
1:37. But it is the "behind the scenes" that we look at to
appreciate the act involved as the Creator entered creation.
The Greater descended into the lesser and afterwards drew a fallen
race up to be seated in the heavenlies. The humility of our
Lord to carry out this process of growing from conception to the
birthing, from childhood to manhood, and then to the cross, the
grave, the resurrection and then the ascension, is all part of one
great and miraculous theme. This theme is laid down in the
parable of a corn of wheat dying. In all of nature there is a
death and life cycle; the one yielding up in order to bring about
life for others. The incarnation thus begins this process and
lays down our pattern for life, for ministry and for victory as
well.

Title - Love and the Power of Prophecy
Message Date: 11/02/2008
Summary:
There is a power to prophecy
that is unmatched by the other gifts of the Spirit in that it is the
one gift that can bless all of a congregation at once. While
we are happy for anyone who is healed, and to some extent when one
gets healed we are all better for it, it is still not the same as
all receiving simultaneously from the mouth of the Lord. Even
though the Church has had the prophetic ministry restored to it, the
Church as a whole is now experiencing some decline in the use of the prophetic
in its congregations. The enemy would like to diminish or shut down this
vital gift. While we are not excusing the abuses and
disappointments, and all that comes with learning to hone our
sensitivity to the Spirit, we still believe that when God
speaks to one or all in prophecy, we are edified, encouraged,
strengthened and comforted. As in all types of prophetic
words, we eat the chicken and spit out the bones. Careful
discernment is a must.

Title - Sure Prophecy For These Times
Message Date: 10/12/2008
Summary:
Everybody realizes that
the world right now, and not just America, is in turmoil. And the
prevailing influence affecting people today is fear, a power
emotion. The enemy works through fear, and fear influences
decisions that people make. So we must have God's view and
wisdom on the things and issues around us.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of
Truth. And we need truth today. We need more than
what we hear and see on the evening news or read in the newspapers.
We need the greater truth of God that overrides what the world is
saying.
Today's world is more challenging than the one many of us grew up
in. But God is there to meet the challenge with us. He
delights when these things happen because they allow Him to manifest
Himself in greater contrast to what is going on in the world around
us, and to reveal Himself in such a good and powerful way. God
knows the hearts of men and how to get to them, and what to do.
Our faith therefore is in Him.
God has given us
His perfect peace through the Holy Spirit. He brings that
peace to us
by reminding us of the truths that
Jesus has taught us, and to unveil the truth that we need to have
working in and through us. Therefore our hope is anchored in
God, His truth assures us, and His perfect peace settles us.

Title - Filled With the Holy Spirit - #7
Message Date: 08/17/2008
Summary:
Everything that God has
done He has done by His Spirit. This is clear from creation to
salvation. The Father made the plan, Jesus played it out and now the
Holy Spirit is perfecting it in our lives. From the beginning with
Adam, it was made clear that he was to live in dependence to God.
The Tree of Life was his life line. By choosing the Tree of the
Knowledge of good and evil, Adam allowed the same pride of Satan to
work in him and he thus lost his right to live.
The world we live in is contrary to
us. All that is in it the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and
pride of life, is not of the Father. We who have been born of the
Spirit are said to overcome the world. Jesus said He had overcome
the world. But we have to have the same mind set to see what this
overcoming is. He nullified the power of the world to cause Him to
act and react like it. He was not induced to follow its precepts,
motives, modes of life etc. Jesus could live free of the influence
of the world and we can too. But it is important to take on the
life of the Spirit in order to do that. Only by the Spirit can we be
successful. Never will our manner of victory look anything like that
of the world. If it did, we would be of the world.
Prayer for the Holy Spirit to
continually live out Christ’s life in us must be as continual as
breathing. We must learn to engage the Holy Spirit in prayer
especially at contact points that are particularly difficult. These
contact points are the times we know to be especially trying whether
with people or situations. We must learn that from the beginning God
has done all by His Spirit and nothing without. It is to be the same
for us. Our Father has longed for us to live in fullness of Him by
the Spirit. That has been part of His plan from the beginning.

Title - Filled With the Holy Spirit - #6
Message Date: 08/03/2008
Summary: There comes a time when we find out we are not able
to produce a life of Christ on our own. This is usually after
a long period of effort that includes some success but a large
enough amount of failure to prove to ourselves we are not going to
advance much beyond some behavior modification. This was so
well understood by the early apostles that they would pray for the
Holy Spirit to be instrumental in releasing power within the
believers so they could really experience being changed into the
life of Christ.
This is how we come to know the love of God beyond mere mental
assent. It is experience whereby the believer understands the
original intensions of God's love to bring us to the type of life He
always had in mind for us. We can experience this love by the
power of the Holy Spirit who will overpower the areas of resistance
and rebellion, and enable us to love as Christ in all times and in
all situations.
At first blush, this doesn't appeal to some as they think God's love
is Him doing something for them in answer to prayers or they seek
some emotional sensation. These are part of knowing His love.
He heals us and provides for us and shows His faithfulness to us.
But beyond that, God has an eternal plan for our existence that we
are to experience. It is living according to His eternal plan.
When we begin to see how the Holy Spirit does His work in us, and we
become more and more like Jesus without our works, it is truly a
love expression that will bring tears to the eyes of the serious
Christian. |

Title - Filled With the Holy Spirit - #5
Message Date: 07/27/2008
Summary: Who is this King of glory who pursues me with His
love? Perhaps no single truth is more wanting in the Church
than man's attempts to experience God's love. It has been the
cause of so much work and religious effort, all to no avail.
The methods man has chosen have brought about strife and conflict
and no limit to pain and disappointment. The answer is found
in God. The Holy Spirit is the person of the Godhead who is
most responsible to bring this love into us and thereby enable Jesus
to dwell in our hearts, minds, emotions, passions and desires.
But before He succeeds in this we will come to repent of all the
other methods that are at work in us that seek to have God and man
love us. |

addresses five points. They are (1) what is our motivation for
being filled, (2) what is God's motive for filling us with the Holy
Spirit, (3) how praying is the best way to be filled and remain
filled, (4) obstacles to praying, and (5) an illustration of how to
realize the Holy Spirit filling us in our lives. |

Title - Filled With the Holy Spirit - #3
Message Date: 07/13/2008
Summary: The growth of the Church is dependent on the working
of the Holy Spirit in the believer. We must be filled with the
Holy Spirit. We do lack understanding, however, on being
filled with the Holy Spirit. There are Scriptures that may not
seem to the believer to be about the Holy Spirit filling us, but in
fact are. Eph. 3:14-21 is such a Scripture. In order for
Jesus to dwell in our hearts and for God to fill us with His
fullness, we must be filled with the Holy Spirit.
It is by Him that we have both the Father and the Son in us and this
is how we come to know them and the great love God has for us.
We can know this love beyond mere knowledge. This love is
experiential. It is more than emotion and sentiment. It
is by having the Holy Spirit begin to take over our hearts and all
that our hearts encompass. All of our emotions, thoughts,
will, intentions, passions, reasoning and desires are elements of
the heart. These can be united with the Holy Spirit and take
on the very character of Christ. We can know His love both as
receivers of it and also as portrayers of it to one another and the
world. |

Title - Filled With the Holy Spirit - #2
Message Date: 07/06/2008
Summary: There is nothing that any one of us can do on our own
to become a better person, or to become a better Christian.
What truly changes us is the Spirit of Christ within us. A
continual infilling as we surrender more of our life to Him.
Through the continual infilling of the Spirit we learn God from
personal experience, versus just learning about God.
And we then desire a greater degree/infilling of God in our lives.
This is all preliminary to revival. |

Title - Filled With the Holy Spirit - #1
Message Date: 06/29/2008
Summary: God has made known the mystery of His will when times
reached fulfillment that He would bring all things in heaven and
earth together under one head, even Jesus Christ. Jesus is the
head of the Church (His Body) which is the fullness of Him who fills
all in all. These things are in the process of fulfillment.
It is by the Spirit of Christ that we now live. He is the
Spirit of life. If we allow Him to be our life, how will this
change our behavior, our decisions, and ultimately the church? |

Title - Doubt Is Not Merely Unbelief, But Another Belief - Part 5
Freedom From Legalism
Message Date: 06/08/2008
Summary: All religions are legalistic except Christianity.
However, in spite
of our confessions about
faith versus works, and grace versus law, most Christians are under
some law or legal system. Often they are legal systems we make
for ourselves. The Law of the Spirit of Life sets us free from
all laws of sin and death. We want to be a people who will
disciple new believers in faith and not by works, and by grace and
not law. We want ourselves to be free -- Jesus can indeed set
us free. |

Title - Power and the Kingdom of God -- Part 36
(Revival Considerations)
Two Categories of Reviving: Psa. 85.6 "People" and Hab. 3:2
"Works")
Message Date: 06/01/2008
Summary: This
message is meant to give us all some perspectives on revivals and
some considerations on what to expect and prepare for. First and
foremost are the reviving of God’s children and the reviving of
God’s works. Then this teaching looks at how important it is to
have a vision beyond the initial excitement of healings and
miracles. We offer suggestions on how the nations can be changed and
how revival is the only answer big enough to address all of
mankind’s dilemmas. |

Title - Doubt Is Not Merely Unbelief, But Another Belief - Part 4
(Eliminating Conditions for Healing)
Message Date: 05/18/2008
Summary: This
message was shortened due to the way the Holy Spirit moved during
the meeting on Sunday. It is on the same subject of removing
the other beliefs that compete with our faith. We address the
possibility that some have ended up producing methods and formulas
for exercising their faith, and have moved away from "have faith in
God". This is where Mark 11:22-24 begins in the teaching of
Jesus on the matter of faith in our hearts. Is it possible
that we are removing verse 22 from the continuation of verses 23-24?
The latter verses without the 22nd may not be faith in God but
rather in another system of believing.

Title - Doubt Is Not Merely Unbelief, But Another Belief - Part 3
(Removing Doubt In Heart)
Message Date: 05/11/2008
Summary: The
ever present phrase "if it be Thy will" has been the death blow to
many prayers. It sounds honorable and humble, but actually is
an escape clause for those praying in case things don't come to
pass. The end of this type of praying is things don't usually
come to pass, and therefore a new and abhorrent theology is
developed that puts God in a place of playing favorites and looking
sometimes like He is doing the same thing the devil is. This
teaching asks some questions about whether we get our theology from
the world (with all of its devastation and destruction) and from the
uninformed who can't tell the difference between the devil's work
and God's, or do we get our understanding from the word of God and
Jesus who said the works I do are because the Father is in Me (John
10:38).

Title - Doubt Is Not Merely Unbelief, But Another Belief - Part 2
(Overcoming Doubt In Our Heart)
Message Date: 05/04/2008
Summary: There
are more than a few "hidden" thoughts that compete with our faith
for healings. If we don't recognize that they linger in us,
then when we are in those times where we need our faith, these old
arguments have an opportunity to surface and make their case.
Today we consider the concepts of (1) What am I to learn from this?
(2) Is this to draw me closer to God (3) This sickness will
keep me from sinning (4) Suffering and martyrdom make me
holier (5) Sickness is my cross to bear (6) This is a
thorn in the flesh like the apostle Paul's.
There was a tremendous presence of God from the beginning of worship
right through to the end of our Sunday meeting. His anointing
was strong to bring confidence to all that we have the same Holy
Spirit present in all revivals and that He longs to manifest Himself
in us, around us, and through us. Revival is here!

Title - Doubt Is Not Merely Unbelief, But Another Belief
Message Date: 04/27/2008
Summary: In
this teaching we pick up on the matter of doubt that Jesus said
should not be in our hearts. What is considered here is that
doubt is not necessarily unbelief, but another belief. Most
Christians do believe God heals and will use His children to heal.
Some hesitate at "will He heal". But the bigger hindrance for
some is not that God can or will heal, but that another method has
come to compete and oppose our faith. This has to do with the
predominating thoughts or views of the society that we are born
into. I pray this is helpful for you and eliminates the
underlying thoughts that keep us from getting all that God has
intended for us. |

Title - A Heart of Faith (Faithfulness Is Firmness)
Message Date: 04/20/2008
Summary: This
revival is going to bring a fresh understanding and operation of
faith. The exploits of God’s children will be mighty because we will
be the people who KNOW their God. In this teaching we revisit the
wonderful truth of Mark 11:22-25. We see fresh the power of keeping
our hearts so as to produce the right “issues of life.” We see how
important it is not to miss a step in the outline Jesus gave,
because nobody should ever say with their mouths what isn’t yet
believed in their hearts. This is not about a positive mental
attitude. Faith is way beyond that. For many who have given up on
trusting God, this will be a restart. For those of us who have yet
to experience real working faith, this is a new beginning. |

Title - The Burden of the Lord (Matthew 11:28-30)
Message Date: 04/13/2008
Summary: It
is one thing to have Jesus remove our burdens that we have
incorrectly carried. It is another thing to take His burden. In
addition, we can ask “what is His burden?” In this message we look
at the most basic of interests that consume the Lord and comprise
His burden. It is possible to have His burden in your life and to
live with the same desires and purposes. That is another aspect of
revival. |

Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 35 (Kingdom Advance)
Message Date: 03/09/2008 Summary:
Matthew 11:12 gives clear truth about
the Kingdom and how it is advancing. It is forceful in its reach to
the future. At the same time it is assaulted by forces that would
halt or slow this advance. The coming revival will be a
supercharged thrust to drive the Kingdom into more of the darkness
of this world. In the meantime we will face resistance like Moses
and Aaron did with Pharaoh’s magicians.
Counterfeit miracle
courses are already on the scene to deceive the unknowing. Our
determination to have a revival is like the attitude of Nehemiah
who told his enemies that wanted him to come down off the wall, “I
am doing a good thing.”
We must see our lives
and all of our covenant relationships and ministries as works God
has ordained as good works. We must not come down and let the spirit
of abortion cut short the value of our lives and our prayers before
they have been 100% completed.

Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 34
(The Sun of Righteousness Will Rise With Healing In Its Wings #5)
Message Date: 03/02/2008 Summary:
There has never
been a revival in which the fear of the Lord wasn’t present. From
the time of Acts and throughout the history of revivals, holy
reverence accompanied the people of God and was felt by the
unbelievers. The fear of the lord is different from fears of terror
and loss in the world. These always have the image of a bad outcome.
The fear of the Lord is good as it separates us to God and He
preserves us, Mal. 3:16-18, Mal. 4:2.
This teaching includes a prophetic
night vision received by Frank Hammond in 1985, a full 16 years
before the attack on the Twin Towers in New York and 22 years before
we in America and many around the world have begun to feel the
economic “pinch”. In his vision three eagles assault America and
the church. The assault represents for us today the conditions that
prevail that make it right for a revival. The whole outcome depends
on the church and her willingness to repent and pray.
As you listen to this, please ask God
for a holy fear to come upon you and for a intense desire to see the
church “awakened” by a revival that is desperately needed by the
church and the world. |

Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 33
(The Sun of Righteousness Will Rise With Healing In Its Wings #4B)
Message Date:
02/24/2008 Summary: This is the second part of discovering our Need for a
vision of a revival. The first focused on some negatives that show
how desperate the church is for a revival. This part focuses on the
hunger for revival that exists in a growing number of saints. The
points that are given here are not intended to be exclusive, but a
fair overall representation of the things at work in those hungry
for revival. Some will have more impact your life as they touch the
nerve of your spirit. Those are the ones to let the Holy Spirit
stimulate in you. |
 |
Message Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 32
(The Sun of Righteousness Will Rise With Healing In Its Wings #4A)
Message Date: 02/17/2008
Summary:
We must have a
vision of the need for a revival before we can even begin to pray
for one. This teaching in two parts looks at the negative and
positive aspects that form this vision of the need for a revival.
Just as the prophets of the old covenant revealed conditions in
Israel that God wanted the nation to repent of so He could release
his blessings and avert judgment, we too must see our state so
repentance can flow. The stakes have never been higher for the
individual the church worldwide and the nations.
When recognizing the “sins” of
the body, a proper attitude must accompany these discoveries. It is
not judgment or criticism. No, it is sorrow and prayer for
forgiveness, not just for our sins which we recognize in ourselves,
but for the whole body. If during the course of these teachings we
have the slightest bit of criticism surface, it too must be repented
of. Again, this is the negative side of the vision. The next
teaching will reveal the positive heart conditions that long for a
revival and also stimulate our prayers.
I add finally that this is a
message for the whole church and not some segment that we think is
worse than others. As I have said repeatedly, the church is in
desperate need for a revival and the world is in desperate need for
the church to have one. A true revival is the solution and
the only solution to raise the church to normal kingdom living,
produce massive salvations and determine the destiny of nations.

Message Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 30
(The Sun of Righteousness Will Rise With Healing In Its Wings #2)
Message Date: 01/20/2008
Summary:
We are in
embryonic stage of a revival. It will be worldwide. The question
some are asking already is what will it be like? All revivals have
similarities and distinctions too. They all restore things to the
church and they always renew the churches first love. That is the
core value of revivals. The life they have is the life of Christ
Himself. He rises in us and we live as He meant us to.
If I may be so bold, there are
some distinctions to the coming revival I strongly sense. They are
contained in Malachi 4:2. This scripture has been lingering in my
spirit for some time and I think it reveals two of the things God
will restore to us. These are righteousness and healing. We are
looking at how these two will manifest. They won’t be dropped out of
the sky on us. They are the results of the Sun of righteousness with
healing in its wings, rising in us. Our part is desiring for this to
happen and to function in faith that it is.
We look at the early churches
ministry of healing within the body in this message. |
 |
Message Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 29
(The Sun of Righteousness Will Rise With Healing In Its Wings #1)
Message Date: 01/13/2008 Summary:
All revivals have some things in common. They are
also distinct as each brings back to the church something that needs
to be restored. This revival is no different. Several of the things
being restored during this revival are righteousness and healing.
But for you who revere my name, The sun of
righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you
will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.
Malachi 4:2. This is an introductory teaching on the topic.
But
included in the same scripture are three other significant points
that will highlight the revival. The revival will bring back a fear of the Lord, (those who fear my name). We will experience
an ever increasing presence of the Lord rising in His body,
(the sun of righteousness rises in His people like the natural sun
rises in the heavens). The church will experience such joy she
will act like calves released from the stall. In this message we
address the aspects of righteousness and healing. |

Message Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 23
(Revival Knowledge of the Christ Life)
Message Date: 10/28/2007 Summary:
If there is one outstanding feature and the primary
one about a revival it is that the life of Christ in the body is
manifested more and more. Even when the doctrine of the indwelling
Christ is not clearly understood, his life is still expressed in the
body.
However,
the truth should be revisited so as to bring the children of God to
a desire for an ever increasing life of Christ. It is easy to live a
religious life without the real power of that life. It is done all
too much. Now is the time for change.
We must
come to say “for me to live is Christ." |

Message Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 22
(Inroads Into The Community; Binding and Loosing)
Message Date: 10/21/2007 Summary:
The coming of the Lord in a revival has preparatory
phases. Prayer is fundamental as an ongoing element of revival. But
some attention to the Lord impacting the community is needed. We are
being led by the Holy Spirit to reach out in compassion to the
community by offering prayer to all who wish. Even if people don’t
reply with a request for us to pray, we still do damage to the
spiritual realm with our prophetic acts. This is a form of binding
and loosing.
We
are already praying for the community to be loosed of all privacy
and isolation and anything that would keep them locked up and unable
to receive what God wants to give them. We are binding the powers of
evil and binding into society the blessings of heaven. People can be
bound with good things and not just bad. They can be loosed from
evil and good can be loosed to them. It is all in the way we exert
our power in prayer and other prophetic acts. This then is
exercising the keys of the kingdom.

Message Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 20
(Revival Illustration)
Message Date: 9/30/2007 Summary:
Revival is always a return from death to life.
Normally we don’t think of Job’s experiences as similar to a
revival. But he did die in some ways and was resurrected into a new
and better life. He lost life as he knew it, but through his
perseverance and repentance, (which he didn’t know he needed to do
until God showed him), gained a new and more abundant life.
I am not
an expert on Job. I am merely experiencing similar things. I find
these experiences and the length of time they have been, do more to
conform me to Christ than anything else could have. A short stint
would have left me just thinking I was a man of great faith and that
I could eliminate all of life’s problems and not go through them.
Most of
real life is experienced below the surface. That is where God does
His best work. A revival is always about God doing a deep work.

Message Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 18
(Praying For The Results of Revival)
Message Date:
9/16/2007 Summary:
Revivals run on prayer and there is no better way to
learn how to pray than to pray. Revival prayers cover the present
condition of the world and the church and call for changes in the
church so that it is again influential in the world as salt and
light. So these prayers address a few of the things we are asking to
see revived in us. In other words we are praying the results. More
of these praying times for additional changes will follow as the
Lord leads. We hope those of you who listen can join in agreement
for us and yourselves for these changes and that a mighty revival
will spread through out the church.

Message Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 15
(Advancing Revival and the Kingdom - Three Words)
Message Date: 8/19/2007 Summary:
Being truly revived and moving into Kingdom life
requires ever increasing understanding about God’s purposes and His
ways. A better knowledge of Romans 8:28-31 is necessary to finding
the Lord’s purpose in all of life’s good and bad. What
really is the meaning of good and how do we extract it from all
things?
In addition, we need to learn how to forget things
that are behind so whatever has produced the wrong confidence in us
can be dismissed. Even more important is to dismiss those events
that have wounded us so badly that some cannot make any progress in
their walk, always being held by the past. This is so important for
all who want to press for the prize. |

Message Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 13
(Allowing the Holy Spirit to Bind the Strongman of Self -- continued)
Message Date: 8/5/2007 Summary:
In this message we share one of the widely used
prayers during the Welsh Revival of 1904. This prayer along with the
4 point message of Evan Roberts was very instrumental in bringing
about one of the greatest moves of God we have ever known. You will
be amazed at the similarities in the prayer to the issues of today.
Lastly, we point out a number of indicators regarding one being
personally revived. Everything doesn’t happen all at once, even if
there are some flash points that spark ones personal revival. All
revivals are personal as well as corporate. It is the sum of all
individuals being touched anew that makes revivals so powerful.

Message Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 12
(Allowing the Holy Spirit to Bind the Strongman of Self)
Message Date: 7/29/2007 Summary:
The Lord gave me Matt. 12:29 Sunday morning and said
that He was going to show us a perspective of this word that He
wanted the church to understand. It has to do with the Kingdom and
how we struggle with a “strongman” within us. That strongman is the
SELF. Self is responsible for wanting to maintain control which
shows up in all manner of ways. It continues to hold to its methods,
ways, and routines in an attempt to improve life. It wants to
overcome the things it thinks are wrong. It works harder for fewer
results, but continues to hold on to control. It can only be
defeated when someone stronger comes in and binds the strongman and
then establishes unity within. Self will never cast out self. That
is why disappointment and discouragement remain in so many lives.
But the “stronger One can reveal the inner motives and desires,
secret ambitions and lusts, and above all the IMAGE we seek to
maintain. All of that is dealt with by the King as we give Him
rights to our secret chambers as well as the authority to deal with
our recurring sins. Things are brought out into the light and
darkness flees. Vulnerability is a weapon against the self life.
A revival
of the Kingdom is first a personal revival. It then becomes
corporate. Then it touches and changes the world. The Kingdom
advances. Peace reigns. |

Message Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 9
(Vision For Revival of the Kingdom)
Message Date: 7/8/2007 Summary:
Praying and believing for Kingdom revival is surely
spiritual warfare. Restoring the church to a lifestyle of the
Kingdom is our goal. But it is clear that there is resistance and
some of that showed up as I began my message. It was difficult to
begin and it seemed that I couldn’t even focus on the scripture I
wanted to start with. Many in the congregation must have been
praying as I did inwardly to regain my clear direction. In a short
time the resistance lifted and everything became clear and focused.
Some of you may have experienced similar things and I want you to
know you are not alone.
Most of
the church has only read of revivals of the past. None have
experienced what happened in Wales at the turn of the 20th
century. The whole world was impacted by it through the presence of
the Holy Spirit who literally changed the atmosphere of cities,
regions and nations. The affairs of men changed and social and
political changes were dramatic. Revivals are the cure of all ills
in the world. They do in short time what methods and programs could
never accomplish over sustained effort. Revivals are supernatural.
This teaching looks at the first church with its Pentecostal
experience and how that played out to alter the world forever. The
whole of the move was supernatural, spontaneous, involved angels,
dreams, visions, trances, miracles, healings, signs and wonders
along with the ongoing guidance of the Holy Spirit who selected
people, places and actions to extend the Kingdom.
I
extracted some of the events and just listed them and concluded with
a summary of distinguishing conditions that made for the continuing
expansion of the Kingdom. We look at the Book of Acts (of the
apostles) which should be renamed acts of the Holy Spirit in
the Body of Christ since these acts included the acts of
everyday believers.
May this
stimulate your hearts to seek what the Lord himself wants us to
seek, as He is the author of revivals. |

Message Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 8
(Revival) Message Date: 7/1/2007 Summary:
Nothing has become clearer to me than that revival is
of God. It is something first revealed to those in need of it in
order that they may begin seeking Him for it. The irony is that it
was in His heart first. So our call to Him is a Spirit birthed call
and the answer is prepared as is all his works which are know to Him
from the beginning of the world. So we can safely say that once we
begin to cry out we can have concrete faith that revival will come.
This
message looks at some of the conditions that the Holy Spirit uses to
stimulate our hearts to seek revival. As you listen, may the Holy
Spirit birth a revival heart in you and cause you to join us in
prayer for the coming revival.

Message Title - Power and the Kingdom of God - Part 7
(Reverential Fear of the Lord)
Message Date: 6/24/2007 Summary:
When holy fear comes to the body of Christ it is
associated with the power of God. Often the displays of power,
healings and miracles create an atmosphere of awe and reverence.
Such an environment is conducive to salvations as the Holy Spirit is
so prominent and manifestly present. The time we are in is one of
pending revival. A revival is really the restoration of authentic
Kingdom life. This is our goal. We want an authentic on going life
style that is full of life, holiness and the power of God to change
the conditions of the world. As the church goes, so goes the world
and not the other way around.
The early church walked in the fear of the Lord and the comfort of
the Holy Ghost and the church grew in numbers. Let’s begin to
believe for the power of the Holy Spirit and the fear of God to be a
major part of the coming revival that will reshape society as the
body becomes more and more the expression of the Kingdom of God.

Rees
Howells Intercessor
– Norman Grubb Rees Howells was a man peculiarly taught of God: one who learned the
Bible as the Spirit made him live it. Every chapter of this biography is
full of drama and light, showing how he faced the implications of an
entire surrender, learned to love the unlovely, found the key to
prevailing prayer, became the channel of a mighty revival in Africa, was
taught the principles of divine healing and progressed ever further in
faith until world events were affected by his prayers. Here are rich
truths of the Spirit for all the Church of Christ today, inherent in a
story told with simplicity, humanity, and humor enough to captivate any

When
Heaven Invades Earth
(A Practical Guide to a Life of Miracles) – Bill Johnson This book is a powerful statement and testimony on the Kingdom of God.
Theologically sound, well supported, and extremely well argued, this
message provides a carefully constructed biblical foundation for the
average Christian to live and walk in the miraculous power of God. Not
only is the supernatural possible, it is our commission. The Great

The
Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind
– Bill Johnson
Moving in the spiritual realm should be as much a part of a believer’s
routine as prayer, worship and reading Scripture. Yet all too often,
Christians practice an intellectual faith, which lacks any supernatural

all followers of Jesus Christ. The Supernatural Power of a Transformed

The World Aflame
(The Welsh Revival And It’s Lessons For Our Time) - Rick Joyner For the short period of time that it lasted, The Welsh Revival was, in
many ways, the greatest that the church has ever witnessed. Never has a
region been so quickly or radically transformed for righteousness, or
the world so impacted. The fire of this revival was so intense that when
letters or newspaper stories about it were read in other parts of the
world, revival would break out there too.
Today, almost a century later, those who just read or hear the story are
still moved with conviction, hope and the inevitable question: Will God
